Anna Unnasch, LAT, ATC

Anna is currently the head athletic trainer at Jefferson Academy. Originally from San Diego, she was recruited to play Division 1 Beach Volleyball at Grand Canyon University. While at GCU, she received her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training in 2020, earning Cum Laude, and completing her academic career as class representative of the Athletic Training Program. Anna has worked with many sports at all different levels, including collegiate men’s basketball, rugby, lacrosse, and other sports found in school settings.

Anna’s background in sports and her passion for medicine is what drives her to succeed in the athletic training community. For this reason, she has pushed herself to work in many difficult clinical settings that have forced her to grow into the medical professional she is today.

In her free time, Anna continues to compete in beach volleyball tournaments within Colorado and loves to try new things, go camping, and exercise with her new puppy.
